- A1. Each supporting Operator will notify their contract workforce of the SLUSA requirements and roll-out plans.
- Q2. Who will be required to participate in SLUSA Orientation?
- A2. All Safety Sensitive valued contract partners.
- Q3. When will this become mandatory?
- A3. January 1, 2010 for “Requiring� operators, with a six month grace period.
- Q4. How often will the SafeLandUSA Orientation be required?
- A4. Current Plans are for one-time, but subject to an update as agreed by SafeLandUSA Advisory Group.
- Q5. Can an in-house program be approved?
- A5. Yes. See the accreditation process on the website.
- Q6. Will there be a method of grandfathering?
- A6. Yes. Each Accrediting Organization will answer this.
- Q7. How does SLUSA orientation compare to SafeGulf?
- A7. A few modules are Land or Marine specific.
- Q8. Costs?
- A8. Dependent upon the training provider
- Q9. How do we manage site specific issues?
- A9. Each company must develop a site specific orientation SafeLandUSA Information should not be repeated

- Q11. Will information be entered into a common database?
- A11 Yes. All data will be uploaded daily into a shared database.
- Q12. Will ID Cards be required?
- A12. Yes, Photo ID cards with the SLUSA logo will be required.
- Q13. What roles do ISNetworld and PEC play in SLUSA?
- A13. They both will house SafeLandUSA training records.
- Q14. Is it a requirement that all contract services providers have the SLUSA orientation?
