To obtain a SafeLandUSA Photo ID card, contractors must fulfill the SafeLandUSA minimum HSE basic orientation requirements (23 awareness level topics). Contractors will have several options to meet this requirement. They may send their employees to an accredited third party training provider (examples may include PEC or Rig Pass providers, Safety Councils or Colleges), have their in-house training programs accredited, or simply have their employees test-out by passing a 100 question test administered by an accredited training provider.
Note: All contract employees will be required to have their identities verified prior to issuing of their SafeLandUSA ID card. Operators will have the option to install card scanners (linked to the SafeLandUSA training database) at all of their field offices and will be capable of verifying employees�identities and orientation/training records by scanning their cards.
